URBAN RETREAT: Sat 30 Sept - Fri 6 Oct 2017

One of the best ways to support our practice is to go on retreat – take a weekend or more to move away from our habitual surroundings and live a simpler live. The Urban Retreat is an opportunity to focus on our practice in the midst of our busy lives and to reduce our exposure to the myriad of distractions in an urban context.

The Urban Retreat will be launched on Padmasambhava Day on Sat 30 Sept with extra events scheduled during the week including early morning meditations, day retreat, and more. Check our posters.

URBAN RETREAT: Early Bird Morning Meditation

During the Urban retreat will be an opportunity to boost your practice by meditating with others at the centre. This session is suitable for those with experience of our basic meditation practices.

Please be on time because no one will answer the door after the start of the mediation.

There will be an opportunity to have coffee/tea together after the meditation. Please bring your own breakfast if you wish to join.

Opening to the Magic of Metta - Autumn Weekend Sangha Retreat (Fri 20 - Sun 22 Oct 2017)

The Path as Symbol: Meditation as Personal Journey (start 8 Nov)

An intensive meditation course, for those who wish to take their practice deeper.

We will collectively explore how to create the conditions for a calm, peaceful mind that can more fully turn towards and stay with direct experience and how we can begin to meet difficult sensations, thoughts and emotions with curiosity and without judgement.

The course aims to help us see more clearly our habitual reactions and the suffering they create, and find out what else is possible.
