A deep and careful yoga designed to extend the spine and strengthen the body. There is a specific focus on long-term spinal health and undo-ing the damage caused by sitting for hours a time.
Movements are slow and precise; influenced by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, John Stirk, Anna Ashby and Catherine Annis. The class is un-hurried and not predicated on gymnastic ability.
The Thursday class is particularly relaxed and may include one or two long restorative postures and some meditation.
