Many people find that consistency of teacher and group is a supportive way to learn both of the practices we teach, the Metta Bhavana (the development of loving kindness) and the Mindfulness of Breathing. Our meditation teachers’ approach is informal and friendly. There is plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
Five week course with Karunagita

During this five-week course you will learn two fundamental Buddhist meditation practices and the core principles of Buddhism. The focus will be on how those teachings are relevant and helpful in our often full and complex lives in the world today – with work, family, friends and often competing demands or concerns.
Karunagita led mindfulness-based courses for stress at the NLBC for five years as well as teaching meditation at centres and on retreats. She established and runs a social enterprise, is mother of two teens and author of A Path for Parents.

Two six week courses exploring strategies for taking our meditation pracice further. Suitable for anyone who has already learned the two basic practices and wants to go deeper.
If you cannot make the whole course it is also fine to drop in for individual evenings.
