Room Hire

The North London Buddhist Centre has two beautiful rooms for hire on both weekdays and weekends. These are particularly suitable for local community and voluntary groups, charities, other spiritual groups, complementary health and body work activities, trainers and commercial groups who need a meeting room.

We welcome all those who share our values of generosity, kindness, awareness and friendliness.

Conditions of Use

  • the Buddhist Centre is a smoke, meat & fish and alcohol free zone.
  • there are shared areas for tea breaks; we ask users to wash up and leave the kitchen clean.
  • please do not use mobile phones in public areas, or in our meditation shrine rooms.
  • activities should not compete with NLBC programmed events.
  • no initiations or empowerments.
  • We are sensitive to our name being used to seem to endorse events we are not promoting. Please use your common sense when advertising your event when you are using us as your venue.

Room One

25 square metres in size, suitable for meetings and groups of up to 15-20 people.
Meditation mats, cushions, yoga gear, chairs and flip chart are available on request.
Usual rate: £24.50 / £18.40 per hour.
Monday to Friday Bookings over 3.5 hours: £21.30 / 16.00 per hour 
Sunday Flat rate for the day: £124/93
Rates negotiable.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.

Room Two: Bodywork Studio

NLBC yoga and bodywork studio

The studio size is, 48.5 square metres, 5.4m x 9m, is suitable for meetings of up to 20 to 22 people for training involving body work, or 20 to 40 for workshops and conferences.
Usual rate: £33.50 / £25.15 per hour.
Monday to Friday: Bookings over 3.5 hours: £29.15 / £21.85 per hour,
Sunday: Flat rate for the day £179/134. Rates negotiable.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.

Room Three: Treatment Room with Massage Table

Size: 5 square metres, 2.55 x 1.95 m
Rate is £6.15 per hour before 6pm, £7.10 per hour after 6pm.
We’ll set up a six month agreement to hire a regular weekly period; changes can be made with one months notice either way. Once we have agreed a regular hire ad-hoc bookings are also possible.

Room Four: Consulting Room suitable for one to one meetings

NLBC therapy room

Size: 5 square metres, 2.35 x 2.20 m. Rate is £5.90 per hour
We’ll set up six month agreement to hire a regular weekly period; changes can be made with one months notice either way. Once we have agreed a regular hire ad-hoc bookings are also possible.
