SANGHA EVENTS

Sangha is the community of practitioners who share and strive to embody the Buddha’s vision. Sangha comes into existence when we come together and its strength depends upon the quality of our relationship with one another. This season the NLBC launches a series of events whose main purpose is to encourage Buddhist practitioners to get together to enjoy and learn from each other.

Full Moon Pujas

16 May, 20 June, 18 July (Dharma Day puja) and 15 August.
suggested donation £6

Puja as a practice gives us the opportunity to connect with our ideals in a more emotionally concrete fashion through the use of ritual. The aim is to awaken the imaginative faculty bridging the gap between our intellectual understanding and our emotional response to Buddhist practice.

Friday Practice evenings are a weekly event. The full moon is seen as a particularly good time to practice together so if you can't make it any other time mark these dates in your diary.
