The Office Team have a quiet work time in the morning.
However, for trade & services, urgent enquiries, classes and Bodymind clients we are normally open from 10am Monday - Friday.

Would you like to help the Buddhist Centre?
It is run as a non - profit making charity. At present the Office Team is five members strong and only one works full time! Therefore, to run the centre efficiently we rely on a strong group of volunteers. We would like people to adopt areas of the Centre for cleaning, as well as assist with office work, book keeping and reception work and a range of other general tasks, depending on skills and availability.

The Buddhist centre opened to the public in 2003. The centre is well equiped with two shrine rooms, two study / course rooms and a large reception area with a bookshop and a small cafe area. We aimed to make the design of the building as environmentally friendly as possible - using reclaimed wooden flooring and electricity generated from renewable recourses. 

Increasingly, the Buddhist centre is visited by students and teachers interested in learning about other religions. Our team organises 1 hour long visits during which people are introduced to key Buddhist teachings, have a taste of meditation and ritual.

We also arrange visits for individuals interested in exploring what Buddhism has to offer to people living in the Western world.
