Buddhist entrepreneurs are a rare breed; our speaker is one. Abhayanandi works at the London Buddhist Centre in Bethnal Green, where she founded two successful Buddhist 'Team-based Right Livelihood' businesses: Lamas Pyjamas charity shop, and the Mandala restaurant and café. Why did the Buddha include right livelihood in his eightfold path teaching? Can any type of livelihood qualify? What are the advantages of working in a Buddhist team, with principles of 'give what you can, take what you need' instead of the usual salary and career structures?
