Taste of Transformation: an introductory course
If you would like to explore what meditation and Buddhist teachings have to offer in helping us to manage and transform our mind and mental states, then this is the course for you. By the end of it you will have experienced a real taste of how meditation can offer a path to greater calmness, awareness and emotional positivity, as well as a tantalising glimpse of how Buddhist teachings can help us to make sense of ourselves, our lives and the world. Suitable for newcomers or those who would like a refresher course.

Ratnaprabha

Ratnaprabha discovered meditation and Buddhism when an undergraduate in 1976, and was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 1982. He studied physics and the impact of science on society before trying to connect Buddhism and science, with books on the evolution of consciousness and the Buddhist understanding of the human mind. He is currently the Chair of the North London Buddhist Centre.

Suvarnajyoti

Suvarnajyoti first met Buddhism in 2004. Since then it has transformed her life and she is passionate about the positive impact it can have on all kinds of people. Originally a science graduate, she later went on to become a clinical psychologist, working in the NHS for 20 years.
