Our Team
The North London Buddhist Centre is a collective effort rooted in generosity. Almost everyone who teaches or supports our events does so as a volunteer.
our Centre Team
Our small Centre Team works 'behind the scenes' to keep everything running smoothly. So that they can give themselves fully to our shared altruistic project, they receive a simple financial support package aligned with the London Living Wage. The team is a living expression of Team-Based Right Livelihood, transforming work into a Buddhist practice.
Our Council of Trustees
Led by our Chair, the Council is both legally and spiritually responsible for the North London Buddhist Centre. They oversee our activities, finances, strategy and centre team, while also acting as guardians for the vision and spiritual vitality of our community (Sangha).
Our President
Every Triratna centre has a President - a senior Order Member from outside the local situation who acts as a kalyana mitra (spiritual friend). They offer an experienced, objective perspective and keep North London connected to the wider Triratna movement.
