Support the North London Buddhist Centre

Thank you for your existing regular donation to the North London Buddhist Centre - it is making a real difference. Together, we’re building a spiritual community, rooted in the teaching of the Buddha, in the heart of North London. 

People across London are struggling – with loneliness, stress, disconnection - and many more yearn for meaning and direction.  We want to be here for them - to act as a refuge. A different kind of ‘world’ for them to step into: to meditate, to connect and to explore how to transform themselves and the world around them. 

The problem is, we’re really stretched. We’re not bringing in enough money each month. After an emergency roof repair and unexpected costs, we ended 2024 with a £27,000 deficit! Right now, we have a little over 5.5 weeks of expenditure in the bank (a very vulnerable place to be). Our small team is able to hold things together for the time being, but they can’t keep doing more, with less, forever. Meanwhile, the building is calling out for essential repairs that we simply can’t afford.

So we’re reaching out to ask for your help. We need to raise £21,244 a year in regular monthly donations to stabilise our finances, rebuild the team, and begin to make some essential building repairs.
