IN-PERSON: Sangha Night | Transforming Bad Circumstances into the Path | led by Manjumitra

The Sangha is the Buddhist term for the community of people wishing to learn from the Buddha's teachings. Lalitaraja, Santva, Manjumitra, Khemananda and guest Order Members take turns to lead these evenings, practising and communicating Buddhism. A Sangha evening might include a talk, meditation, discussion, workshop, devotional practice. Open to all (though it is helpful if you have had an introduction to the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditation practices).

Transforming Bad Circumstances into the Path

When we start to take our practice of meditation and Buddhism deeper, we often look to make changes in our life that support our practice. Sometimes life may go more smoothly as a result of this. On the other hand, our lives might be very difficult, or the practice might bring up new challenges for us. In this evening, drawing on Buddhist teachings, we’ll explore how these difficulties can become opportunities for us in our practice.

The Sangha Night team is looking forward to welcoming you.
